Through their work on challenging special projects and prominent east coast landmarks, SVA has earned the respect and recognition of their peers in the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, power system, communication, data transfer, and lighting design, engineering, and consulting fields.
One such project is the Emerson Bromo-Seltzer Clock Tower in Baltimore, Maryland. The exterior lighting for this historic landmark had deteriorated to a point where it was unusable. The design objective was to light the upper portion of the exterior of the structure from all sides and to recreate the look and feel of the original blue bottle that once adorned the top of the structure.
